Recommend a friend...

The existing client must recommend a friend that is new to Apple Hair Design. Once the friend has had their appointment the existing client will then receive their offer at their next appointment. Please make us aware that you are a recommended friend when you book your appointment, we will also require the name of the existing client that has recommended you, to make sure that they also receive their offer. We have recommendation cards in salon please ask your stylist or someone at reception. Please note, a free of charge skin test will be required for all new clients at least 24 hrs prior to any colouring service.

Salon Policies 

By booking your appointment with us at Apple Hair Design you are agreeing to the following policies.

Cancellations

Your appointment Is very important to us and we give you our full time and attention for the duration of your appointment, for that we respectfully ask that we are given at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to make any amendments to your appointment. Without this we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment and guests on the waiting list miss their opportunity to visit us. Therefore, there will be a 50% late cancellation fee. Whilst we completely understand that things can happen at the last minute and we can assure you we will be sympathetic, we must also ensure that our time is not wasted.

No-Shows

There is a 100% Charge for no show appointments. We send text and email reminders so that we can ensure there is no confusion. Please make sure we have up to date records for you.

Weddings & Large Bookings

For large bookings or weddings, we will require a non – refundable booking fee of 50% to secure your appointment. This fee will be used as part payment towards your service. This can not be used towards product or voucher purchases.

Allergy Testing

New clients, and clients that haven’t visited us in more that 12 months that are wanting a colouring service, are required to book a complimentary consultation, this will include an allergy test. This is for the Technician to discuss your colour with you and run all the necessary tests prior to your appointment. Allergy tests must take place no later than 24 hours before your appointment.

Late Arrivals

Whilst we will try our best to still fit you in for your appointment, if you are 15 minutes late or more we reserve the right to refuse the appointment, this will be treated as a late cancellation and a 50% charge will apply. Depending on your appointment length we may be able to offer a shorter service in its place and will do our best to find something to suit.

Complaints & Redo’s

We understand that sometimes a client can be unhappy with their cut or colour, we are more than happy to rectify this for you providing the complaint is made within 48 hours of the appointment finishing. A thorough consultation will take place and if an issue is found the problem service will be completed free of charge and any additional services would be charged on this. We are not able to refund services but will always endeavour to rectify any problems and keep our clients happy and satisfied.

Right to Refusal

Apple Hair Design reserves the right to refuse a service, these reasons include but are not limited to the following:

*If a customer is wanting a colour but has a reaction to an allergy test or has had a reaction to hair colour before

*If a strand test, elasticity test or incompatibility test completed by your technician shows that the hair is too damaged for colouring.

*If a customer has head lice, contagious skin conditions, open wounds on head, face or neck.

*If a customer is rude, inappropriate, disrespectful or disruptive to staff or other clients.

*If the salon policies are not adhered to or if a customer is consistently late or reschedules/cancels too many appointments

Price Increase

Due to a sharp increase in overheads, we have had to increase our prices as of 1/1/2024. We have tried to make this as fair as we can and have introduced the smallest increase possible across our range of services. Apple Hair Design impose the right to a price increase. We take this very seriously, as we want to provide our clients with the best possible price and service, however rising costs mean it is inevitable that we will have to impose increases where necessary

Client Product Discount

Existing clients of the salon are entitled to 15% off all Wella products purchased from us within the salon. Clients must have visited within the last 6 months to qualify for this discount. 

Text and email reminders are sent 24 hours prior to appointments so please make sure we have up to date records for you.
